Amy & Kent Engagement Photography Session in Colorado Springs

It is exciting how fate put these two together. Amy was a nurse when they first met in the hospital as a result of Kent’s motorcycle accident. I guess you can say this guy really went to extremes by becoming a patient to find his bride! He was bedridden there while she nursed his wounds and by the time he was released from the hospital their romance was in full swing. So of course they began looking for the best wedding photographers in Colorado Springs. When we met with them we immediately clicked with both of their personalities. We soon kicked off their wedding photography adventure with an Engagement Photography Session at Fox Run in Colorado Springs.

Amy and Kent are a very casual couple who who like to laugh and be themselves… so keeping their engagement photography session very light and carefree was most important. That is one of the reasons that they felt so comfortable with us and enjoyed our relaxing but flattering wedding photography style. No matter how laid back a couple is, they always appreciate the fashion photography element that we add which only means that everything we photograph is from the most complimentary perspective. Also they love our photojournalistic wedding photography style which everyone says looks like should be in a magazine.

Kent has an amazing guitar collection and brought his Martin to the Engagement Photography Session. He played guitar and sang and they also took off their shoes and waded thru the creek. As you can probably sense from their images, it seemed at times that they forgot that we were there… they just flowed together like the breeze as we captured their candid moments.

>When we presented their engagement photography images to them, it seemed to spark even more excitement for them as they proceeded to tackle the rest of their wedding planning. That is why we encourage a couple to do the Engagement Photography Session. It gives them a comfort factor with themselves and with us, allowing them to relax and focus on all the other aspects of their wedding events.

Houston and I are energized after photographing a Colorado Springs Engagement Session because it always sets the stage for the upcoming wedding photography sessions scheduled such as the Bridal Portrait Session, Rehearsal Dinner Photography and of course the Wedding and Reception Photography.

At Renaissance Photographics in Texas we also do custom framing so we will frame their favorite images from their Engagement Photography Session to display them at the reception site at the Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs and later in their home…. framing is just one less thing a couple needs to be concerned with!

Tracy and Marc

Tracy and Marc wanted the best wedding photographers for their wedding at the historic Holy Ghost Catholic Church in downtown Denver with the reception at Graystone Castle.

They had their engagement photography session at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver. The red rocks really brought out some fiery highlights in her hair.

Her Bridal Portrait Session will be in the mountains in Glenwood Springs while we are there to photograph her brother-in-law’s wedding at the Hotel Colorado.

Tracy and Marc are a very passionate couple and we enjoy capturing their intimate connection….

They feel so comfortable with us that they almost forget we are there (a gift we’re known for) so we are able capture their unique relationship naturally, an exceptionable ability we have that our clients appreciate.
