Margaux
Margaux excelled as an artist in a variety of mediums winning awards from an early age. After attending art schools in Garrigue, France and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Photography at UNT in Denton, Texas. There she also taught a variety of painting classes at a local art gallery using mixed mediums, but primarily oils, her favorite.
She then opened a Fashion Photography studio in Dallas where she worked with Dallas’ leading modeling agencies. This led to requests by her models to photograph their weddings using the same flattering enhancement techniques that she had personally developed, i.e., capturing complimentary angles, defining cheek bones and chin lines, as well as refining skin tones, to name a few.
She and Houston eventually fused their creativity thus forming Renaissance Photographics where wedding photography becomes a work of art. “I have found that artists may become excellent wedding photographers, but rarely is the opposite true… that is what inspired us to create Renaissance Photographics. When a bride looks at her photographs, we want every image to be artistically expressive of the beauty of each moment.”
