We were excited meeting Sylvia and Matthew because they wanted to combine their music talents into their wedding photography plans. Houston is also a songwriter & musician (sax & guitar), so he contemplated musical themes to make their Colorado Springs Wedding Photography unique and creative.
We kicked off their Engagement Photography Session inside a beautiful historic Episcopal church where Sylvia had a grand piano to play and Matthew brought his viola which he plays professionally with the Colorado Springs Orchestra. So we created a Baroque type atmosphere and had a blast getting some fascinating imagery.
Then they changed into some hiking attire for an entirely different look so that we could capture them in the dramatic landscape of the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.In that same location we were also able to get Pikes Peak Mountain in the background which is in neighboring Manitou Springs, Colorado. Sylvia and Matthew are choosing to have their wedding in Sylvia’s home town of Pueblo, Colorado as well as her Bridal Portrait Photography Session.
Their wedding will be in the fall so they will have an Autumn theme at the wedding along with their music theme which will be an interesting combination.
